Private Dining and Celebrations
Celebrate a birthday, anniversary or family gathering in one of two private spaces. The Garden Room suits a smaller meal, while the Pavilion supports a larger party. Room hire, food and entertainment are separate unless included in a written proposal. Standard restaurant-table rules do not cover an exclusively hired room. Please tell the events team about the type of gathering and whether any children will attend so they can explain appropriate arrangements.
Visitor information
- Garden Room
- The Garden Room seats up to 24 people and costs £180 for a four-hour hire. It is suitable for a private meal, not a 40-person seated function. Food and drinks are charged separately.
- Pavilion hire
- Pavilion private-party hire costs £600 for up to six hours. It seats up to 100 or accommodates 140 standing guests. Hire alone does not include catering, a DJ, decorations or bedrooms.
- Buffet price
- The standard buffet costs £24 per person with a minimum of 20 paying guests. The minimum catering charge is therefore £480, in addition to room hire. Menu variations require a separate quote.
- Private dinner
- A three-course private dinner costs £38 per person with a minimum of 12 paying guests. It excludes drinks and room hire. Special menu changes have no published fixed supplement.
- Deposit and numbers
- A 25% deposit is required on confirmation. Final numbers, menu choices and balance are due 14 days before the event. Minimum room and catering charges are not reduced by lower attendance.
- Cancellation
- Cancel 30 or more days before and the deposit is retained; 14–29 days before costs 50% of the agreed total; 0–13 days before costs 100%. Payments already made count towards the charge.
- Outside catering
- Outside catering is not allowed, but a professionally supplied celebration cake may be brought with advance agreement and ingredient information. There is no cake-cutting charge; this exception does not permit an outside buffet.
