Weddings at Alderwick
The Pavilion and garden provide a setting for ceremonies, meals and evening celebrations. A wedding enquiry should include the proposed date, daytime guest count, evening guest count and whether a ceremony is required. Our published package is deliberately specific so couples can compare inclusions. It does not guarantee a date is available, replace an individual booking agreement or include services from an external registrar, photographer or entertainer.

- Capacity
- The Pavilion seats up to 100 guests for a ceremony or wedding meal and accommodates up to 140 guests for an evening standing reception. The evening figure does not increase seated daytime capacity.
- Willow package
- The Willow package costs £6,800 for 60 daytime adults and 80 total evening guests. The 80 includes the daytime guests; it does not mean 80 additional arrivals. The package is available throughout the policy year, subject to dates.
- Package contents
- It includes Pavilion hire, a three-course wedding breakfast for 60 adults, one arrival drink and one toast drink per daytime adult, an evening buffet for 80 total guests and a Classic Double for the couple on the wedding night.
- Extra guests
- Each additional daytime adult costs £85 and includes their evening buffet place. An additional evening-only guest costs £22. Children aged 3–11 attending the day cost £35 including buffet; under-threes are free without a separate full meal.
- Ceremony charge
- On-site ceremony setup costs an additional £450. Registrar availability, fees and legal arrangements are separate and not included. The website does not claim that a date or registrar is available.
- Wedding payments
- A £1,000 booking deposit is due on confirmation. The remainder is due 30 days before the wedding. Final numbers and dietary requirements are also due 30 days before; the package minimum charge remains payable.
- Wedding cancellation
- Cancellation 180 or more days before forfeits the £1,000 deposit; 90–179 days costs 50% of the agreed total; 30–89 days costs 75%; and 0–29 days costs 100%. Amounts already paid count towards those charges.
- Finishing time
- Amplified music ends at 23:30 and the Pavilion closes at midnight. Fireworks, sky lanterns and confetti that is not biodegradable are not permitted. Exclusive Pavilion hire is not exclusive use of the entire hotel or estate.
