Golf
Golf at Alderwick
Choose Oakridge for a full championship-style round or Meadow for a shorter introduction to golf. Both courses start at the golf lodge, where the team checks visitors in and explains local conditions. The range and coaching academy can be used without buying a course green fee. Visitors should select the right course before comparing prices: a nine-hole Meadow round is not a discounted nine-hole Oakridge round. Our separate pages explain course characteristics, booking restrictions, hire equipment and visitor tariffs.
Visitor information
- Oakridge overview
- Oakridge is an 18-hole, par-72 course measuring 6,420 yards from the yellow tees. Its full visitor green fee buys one 18-hole round; there is no published nine-hole visitor tariff for Oakridge.
- Meadow overview
- Meadow has nine holes, par 30, measuring 1,860 yards from the yellow tees. An 18-hole Meadow ticket consists of two circuits of those same nine holes, not access to Oakridge.
- Visitor welcome
- Visitors can book either course without a member accompanying them, subject to the course's age and handicap rules. Member-guest prices apply only when the sponsoring member plays in the same group.
- Handicap requirements
- Oakridge visitors need a recognised handicap index of 36.0 or lower. Meadow does not require a handicap certificate. A coaching booking or range session does not waive Oakridge's handicap requirement.
- Starting point
- Check in at the golf lodge at least 20 minutes before the booked starting time. The main hotel reception cannot allocate a tee time or approve a change to the golf booking on the spot.
- Facilities not included
- A golf visitor green fee covers the booked course round only. It does not include gym, pool, sauna, steam-room access, range balls, hire clubs or a buggy unless a named package explicitly includes them.
