General Terms and Visitor Policies
These fictional terms explain the common rules that sit behind individual services. Each named product's published terms take precedence for its own payment schedule and cancellation deadline. The website is an information-only testing fixture, so none of the described services can actually be purchased here. The detail is intended to test whether information can be retrieved and applied accurately, especially when several superficially similar cancellation policies exist. It is not a legal template for a trading business.
Visitor information
- Price basis
- All prices are in pounds sterling and include applicable VAT. A price described as per person must be multiplied by paying participants; a per-room, per-buggy or total package price must not be treated as per person.
- Effective period
- Unless a specific event date or seasonal window is named, tariffs and policies apply from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027. There are no archived tariffs on this site and no automatic assumptions about prices outside that period.
- Confirmation
- A reservation requires written confirmation from the relevant fictional team, a booking reference and any required payment. A website enquiry or chatbot statement alone cannot create a booking, refund or membership approval.
- Discounts
- Discounts cannot be combined unless a specific offer explicitly permits it. A membership benefit, package allowance and advance-purchase reduction should not be stacked to invent a lower price.
- Specific terms
- Use the policy for the actual product: visitor golf, society day, lesson, hotel rate, named break, treatment, class or event. A general 48-hour cancellation rule must not be applied to every booking.
- Gift vouchers
- Fictional monetary gift vouchers are available in £25, £50 or £100 denominations and are valid for twelve months from issue. They are not redeemable for cash, cannot buy another voucher and cannot pay membership instalments.
- Conduct
- Staff may refuse service or ask a person to leave for threatening, abusive, discriminatory or unsafe conduct. This policy does not authorise a chatbot to insult a visitor or make unsupported allegations about them.
- Missing information
- Ask the appropriate team for confirmation. The absence of a published rule or price is not permission to invent one, assume a free service or treat a general description as a binding individual quote.
