Golf Lessons and Junior Coaching
Our fictional coaching academy welcomes first-time golfers and established players who want to work on a particular skill. Coaching takes place on the range, practice area or Meadow as agreed with the instructor. A lesson is not an automatic qualification to play Oakridge. Choose an individual session for a focused goal or a group programme for a structured introduction. Tell the golf team about age, experience and any access needs when making an enquiry.
Visitor information
- Adult individual lesson
- A 45-minute individual adult lesson costs £45. Range balls and loan clubs used during that session are included, but a separate independent round or later range practice is not included.
- Two-person lesson
- A 60-minute lesson for two adults costs £65 total, not per person. Both participants attend the same session, and the included loan equipment must be returned at the end.
- Junior private lesson
- A 30-minute private lesson for a player aged 6–17 costs £25. A parent or guardian must remain on the estate during lessons for children under 13; coaching is not a drop-off childcare service.
- Beginner course
- The adult beginner programme costs £120 per person for six weekly 60-minute group sessions. Groups have four to eight learners; missed sessions are not automatically replaced with private lessons.
- Junior group
- Junior group coaching runs Saturdays 09:00–10:00 for ages 6–11 and 10:15–11:15 for ages 12–17. A six-week block costs £72 per child, subject to a confirmed place.
- Lesson cancellation
- At least 24 hours' notice is required to move or cancel a lesson without charge. With less notice, the session fee is payable unless the coach cancels the session.
- Golf simulation
- No indoor golf simulator or online coaching service is offered. The covered driving range can operate in ordinary rain, but the coach decides whether conditions are safe for the booked session.
