Golf

Driving Range

The range is a standalone practice facility next to the golf lodge. You can visit without a handicap or club membership. Covered bays provide shelter, but the outfield remains outdoors and can close in unsafe weather. Ball baskets are sold for use during the same visit and must not be taken onto either course. Coaches may reserve particular bays for lessons; this does not close every bay to ordinary practice users.

Visitor information

Bays
There are 16 covered bays, including two wider bays with level access. Eight bays have shot-tracking screens; access to a particular tracking bay is first-come, first-served and not guaranteed by buying balls.
Small basket
A basket of 30 range balls costs £4.50. Range balls are separate from visitor green fees and ordinary club-hire charges unless a named lesson or society package explicitly includes them.
Medium basket
A basket of 60 range balls costs £7.50. Unused balls are not refundable and must remain at the range; buying two baskets does not create an additional bulk discount.
Large basket
A basket of 100 range balls costs £11.00. There is no published 120-ball basket, monthly unlimited-ball subscription or complimentary refill policy.
Range hours
The range opens Monday to Saturday 08:00–21:00 with last ball sales at 20:30, and Sunday 08:00–19:00 with last sales at 18:30. Christmas Day is closed.
Children
Children aged six and above can use the range. Under-13s must be directly supervised by an adult, with no more than two children per supervising adult. Under-sixes may watch from the seating area but may not hit balls.
Loan club
A single range club can be hired for £2 per visit, subject to availability. This is different from a full course-hire set and does not include a basket of balls.
