Swimming Pool and Supervision
The pool supports lane swimming and family sessions within clearly separated hours. It is not a supervised childcare service and there is no lifeguard stationed on poolside. Parents and accompanying adults must understand the age ratios before entering. A child who is a confident swimmer still follows the published accompaniment rules. Guests requiring the pool hoist should arrange assistance in advance through the health team rather than expecting every member of staff to operate it without notice.

- Pool dimensions
- The indoor pool is 20 metres long, with a uniform depth of 1.2 metres. It has no diving area, wave machine or separate children's paddling pool. Diving and running on poolside are prohibited.
- General timetable
- The pool opens Monday to Friday 06:30–21:30 and weekends 07:00–20:30. Last entry is 45 minutes before closing. Christmas Day is closed; New Year's Day 2027 opens 09:00–18:00.
- Family windows
- Under-16s may swim 09:00–11:00 and 15:00–18:00 daily. Outside those times the pool is for ages 16 and over. On 1 January 2027 the child windows are 10:00–12:00 and 15:00–17:00 instead.
- Young children
- Children aged 0–7 need an adult aged 18 or over in the water with them, with no more than two children per adult. The adult must maintain close supervision; watching from a lounger is not sufficient.
- Older children
- Children aged 8–15 need an adult aged 18 or over present in the pool hall, with no more than three children per adult. Mixed-age groups that include an under-eight follow the stricter in-water ratio of two children per adult.
- Lifeguards
- No lifeguard is on duty. Guests must follow the displayed safety information, and children must not be left while an adult goes to the gym or plays golf. In an emergency, alert nearby staff and contact emergency services.
- Heat facilities
- The sauna and steam room are for ages 18 and over only. Being a hotel resident, turning 16 or holding a junior membership does not give a child access to these facilities.
